Where are people spending time online?

A recent study notes that the top 5 internet sites (in time visited) for December 2006 were MySpace, Yahoo, MSN, Ebay, and Google. MySpace and Yahoo have a commanding lead; of all time spent online these two sites account for over 20% of the use. Hmm- where are the librarians on these services?

There is a follow-up to this Top 20 sites by time spent post on Compete.com. It shows the Attention 200 - a list of the top 200 sites according to time spent/engagement. It is interesting to see which sites fall in after the top 20. Here is a link... http://blog.compete.com/2007/02/05/compete-attention-200/
